There’s a Better, More Reliable Way to Beautiful Skin and This Is It

If you’re like me, you turn to Google for answers to everything. You’ve probably done hundreds of thousands of Google searches in your lifetime, including the time you were searching for an old friend, looking up lyrics to that song you heard, or researching your cold symptoms and ending up in a spiral of anxiety on WebMD.

Usually, we’re able to find the answers to our questions using Google.

But sometimes, it’s not worth the effort because the answer we get isn’t the right one for us.

(ENTER: mild-but-annoying skincare problems)

Dry, oily, itchy, flaky, wrinkles, dark spots, acne. Do any of those ring a bell? Do you even know if the products you’re using are actually working?

Here’s why finding a skincare solution via Google may actually hurt your skin:

  • Did you find a fun DIY face mask? DIY masks can cause serious damage to your skin. See here.

  • Did you find a beauty YouTuber giving skincare advice? She may say it’s “amazing” but you may end up going to an esthetician to fix your skin afterwards.

  • Did you find someone who sells skincare products? That person is most likely not a licensed health and wellness professional and may advise products that cause an unwanted reaction on your skin. Their main interest is to sell you a product, but it may or may not be the best or most cost-effective solution!

So many factors go into your skincare routine, including your skin type, your environment, your diet, the ingredients your skin needs, the makeup you wear… So, why trust a website or a person who isn’t a licensed professional with years of experience?

Why not call up an esthetician from the privacy of your home?

What’s an esthetician?
 Find out here.

Where to find an esthetician online: Download the ExperChat app (iOS or Android), find a Skin Care Expert, and book an appointment. I recommend Tamara or Cali.

How it works: Video call an esthetician on the ExperChat mobile app, show them your skin, explain its history, and the products you’re currently using. Ask them your questions and get answers in a 20, 30, or 60 minute appointment.

What you’ll get: Professional advice on how you can treat your skin the right way and prevent unwanted things like acne, wrinkles, and dark spots. This includes advice on your skincare routine and the ingredients to look for when shopping for moisturizers, cleansers, serums, etc.

Can you call an esthetician from your couch? Yes! Book an appointment for a time that works with your schedule and when it comes time for your appointment, just open the ExperChat app on your phone and give the Expert a call. You don’t even have to leave your house…

Actually, ExperChat prefers you stay at home where there’s a strong WiFi connection for your video appointment. It’s just like when you FaceTime a friend– you need bright lighting and a good Internet connection so you can see them and hear them.
